Since our launch in 2023, Watershed Investigations has worked to shine a light on the hidden challenges facing the UK’s rivers, lakes, groundwater and seas.
Through rigorous, evidence-based reporting, we have revealed the spread of harmful “forever chemicals” and highlighted weaknesses in water regulation that put both people and wildlife at risk. By collaborating with major media outlets and leading scientists we’ve catalysed greater public awareness, political debate and regulatory scrutiny.
